With uniNFC, expensive card terminals can be replaced entirely by your smartphone. This innovative product features a physical card recognition module callable through various apps and web services, having received official security certification from the Credit Finance Association (Credit Card Terminal Registration Number: 2020-122-C1).

UniNFC processes payments via credit, debit cards, or standard plastic credit cards equipped with the pay-on functionality through NFC and OCR capabilities. The entire recognition process is securely managed using an encrypted module and H/W TEE-based secure storage, ensuring that credit card information is not stored on the smartphone.

Simply by installing uniNFC on your smartphone, you transform it into a fully functional card terminal.

1. Operating System Requirements
   - A smartphone running Android 7.0 Nougat or higher
   - Android OS API Level: Support for Level 24 or higher
2. Recommended Models
   - Samsung Galaxy S7 or newer; recommended models include Galaxy S10 to S20
   - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to Note 10
   - LG G5 to G8; LG V20 to V50
   * Higher models beyond the recommended list may also be supported.
3. Key Features
   
   • Phone-to-Card Payment
     This feature allows users to touch a credit/debit card equipped with pay-on functionality to the back of their smartphone utilizing NFC. It recognizes all credit and debit cards issued domestically.
     * Ensure that the NFC function of your smartphone is set to basic mode prior to use.
     * On some manufacturers’ devices, this might appear as 'NFC Read/Write' (activated). It will not function if set to card mode.
     * T-money types are excluded as they lack necessary payment card information.
     * NFC antenna positions vary by manufacturer; check your device’s specifications before use.
   • Phone-to-Phone Payment
     Enables payment when the back of smartphones is touched together while utilizing Samsung Pay or LG Pay. The buyer activates their Samsung Pay or LG Pay and touches the back of the seller's smartphone running uniNFC.
   • Camera Payment
     Allows recognition of standard plastic credit/debit cards through the camera for payment. Both horizontal and vertical cards, including corporate cards, can be recognized. Sensitive credit card information identified during transactions is encrypted and not stored on the smartphone.
   • Simple Mobile POS Functionality
     Sellers can manually input transaction amounts for payments. To use this feature, merchants must first become registered credit card vendors and download necessary information (Contact: 1588-1704).
   • App/Web Calling Functionality
     Enables payment through app-to-app or web-to-app methods by calling uniNFC within your service app or website. Users can readily initiate use of uniNFC once it is installed without additional setup.

[Mandatory App Permissions]

• Storage (Mandatory)
  Required for temporary storage of data (payment signatures, receipt images) that are deleted afterward, as well as for securely managing encrypted DB files (receipts, integrity check history).
• Camera (Mandatory)
  This permission is necessary for scanning credit cards using the smartphone camera during OCR payments.

The above permissions are utilized for the operation of uniNFC services and denial of these permissions may hinder normal app performance. Settings can also be adjusted through the phone settings > Application screen.
